​After lunch His Royal Highness was taken to meet with Young Cart Shed participants who demonstrated some of the skills they have learned with us. The Duke then went on to meet staff, volunteers and participants on our other woodland site where he learned about the challenges people are facing and to see more of our enriching woodland activities. Before The Duke of Kent departed, he planted an Oak tree in our arboretum to celebrate his visit and The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
